What is Pinterest all about? All in all, it is something like a virtual bulletin board. You can “pin” images and videos from other sources or link to your own content. Best of all, you can comment on the pin so you can remember why you were interested in it.
Many artists and crafters are using Pinterest as a means to archive their projects, but ESL teachers and students can use it too! Teachers can create boards for their classes, which students can follow. Even better, students can create boards as part of a class project or to share resources.
Of course, as with any online space, it is important to monitor what students are saying and posting. Still, the usability of Pinterest makes it a worthwhile tool to incorporate.
